Our Story

At Rhodes Physical Therapy, our goal is to provide genuine care and support in relieving pain and restoring each patient to the highest quality of life possible. We utilize state of the art equipment and professional techniques to promote recovery. We strive to instill a life-long commitment in our patients’ individual health and wellness.

Jon Rhodes, DPT, MBA, MSPT, Shepard Lane

Jon attended Brigham Young University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology.  He earned a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado.  He then furthered his education by earning a Master’s of Business Administration from Troy State University with an emphasis on marketing.  He completed a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2009.  Jon is certified by the Titleist Performance Institute in Medical Level 3, Biomechanics Level 2, and Junior Coach Level 3, and works with many prominent local golfers and collegiate golf teams. He specializes in using 3-D motion capture technology to help golfers achieve their potential and designs exercise programs to help with flexibility and stability. Jon is an avid golfer and loves spending time with his wife and 6 kids experiencing the outdoors or playing tennis, golf, skiing, and of course, Disneyland!

Henry White, PT, PGA Professional, City Creek

Henry has over 20 years of experience in physical therapy and has been running his own practice in SLC since 2001.  He is one of the only physical therapist in the country who is also a Class A PGA professional.  He still active and competes in the Utah section golf tournaments and he teaches golf lessons to his clients and friends. He is a big part of our golf physical therapy program.

 

 

 

 

Jen Bieber, DPT, Station Park

Jen earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Utah, recognized as a Pro Bono National Honor Society member and Widener Award recipient. Jen specializes in orthopedic and sports physical therapy, is certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA-1), and passionately addresses the entire kinetic chain of each patient to educate and empower them to reach their potential. Jen is a Pandolabs Founding Member, Park City’s entrepreneurial community, and is Head of Rehabilitation for Rehabilitation Health. Prior experiences and education includes: Research Assistant at the University of Utah Orthopedic Center, Patient Care Coordinator for Kagen MD, and she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health, Fitness, and Recreational Resources, Health Promotion Concentration and a Minor in Psychology from the George Mason University Honors College, where she was a member and captain of the varsity tennis team. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog and enhancing her personal perspective on physical performance enhancement and recovery through her active Utah lifestyle: running, biking, kayaking, hiking, golfing, playing tennis, bouldering, and skiing.

Ashley Tanner, DPT, Shepard Lane

Ashley has a passion for helping people decrease their pain and return to the activities they love. Her treatments focus on blending the importance of exercise and functional training with manual/hands-on therapy to help restore patients to optimal performance.

Ashley earned her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and Athletic Therapy from Weber State University where she competed for the Women’s tennis team. She received her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science. Ashley is involved in teaching injury prevention techniques for tennis, golf, and dance programs in the community. Ashley has a level 1 manual therapy certification and specialized training in functional dry needling. Ashley enjoys playing tennis, golf, skiing, hiking with her dog Mowgli, and going to concerts.

 

Casey Carolan, PTA, Shepard Lane, Kongo Athletic Club

Hitting Certified, Baseball Pitching Certified

Casey earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Therapy from Weber State University. He went on to earn his Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Provo College. Casey is passionate about his work and helping his patients reach their goals and exceed their expectations. His goal is to tailor each treatment to the individual and build relationships with his patients. Casey loves to be outside in the sunshine where he loves to travel, go golfing, hiking, boating, or rock climbing. Casey is also an avid food lover.

Ryan Hidalgo, PTA, Shepard Lane

Ryan has worked in healthcare for many years and is excited to have found his passion in physical therapy. He is a graduate of Salt Lake Community College and couldn’t be more thrilled to join the team at Rhodes Physical Therapy! In his spare time Ryan loves to spend time outdoors with his wife and son, whether that be paddleboarding, hiking, camping or skiing.

 

Katie Bradshaw, Office Manager

Katie earned her Associates degree in Healthcare Administration and has loved working in the healthcare field of physical therapy for the past 7 years.  She truly values building relationships with each patient to ensure they have a personalized experience that allows optimal healing. In her spare time she loves spending time with family, being outdoors and crafting projects. Sarah Thompson, Front Desk Administrator, PT Aide

Serving as both the Front Desk Administrator and a Physical Therapy Aide, Sarah works at our Salt Lake City office on the third floor of the City Creek Mall. Sarah received her Associates Degree at Weber State University and loves working in the healthcare field.
